* WHAT...Life-threatening wind chills as low as 50 below zero.
* WHERE...Northwest and much of central North Dakota.
* WHEN...Until noon CST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...The life-threatening wind chills will cause frostbite on
exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. Hypothermia could develop
shortly thereafter.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest period during this long-duration
event will be during the late night and early morning hours.
This is a potentially dangerous situation to be outdoors. If you must
be outside, be sure to cover all exposed skin and dress in layers.
