near the ground with deteriorated air quality.
* WHERE...Number 1 Canyon, Colville, Ione, Pangborn Airport,
Springdale-Hunters Road, Cashmere, Disautel Pass, Highway 20
Wauconda Summit, Conconully, Twisp, Entiat, Okanogan, Boulder
Creek Road, Number 2 Canyon, Leavenworth, Chelan, Deer Park,
Metaline, Wenatchee, Brewster, Chewelah, Omak, Oroville, Methow,
Winthrop, Wauconda, Newport, Kettle Falls, Loup Loup Pass, Plain,
Stehekin, Northport, Stevens Pass, Nespelem, Holden Village,
Fruitland, Mazama, Sherman Pass, Metaline Falls, Bridgeport,
Flowery Trail Road, Tiger, Republic, Chesaw Road, Orin-Rice Road,
Inchelium, and Tonasket.

* IMPACTS...Periods of air stagnation can lead to the buildup of
pollutants near the surface.
Buildup of fine pollution particles can be harmful to those
sensitive to air pollution including people with lung and heart
problems, people with diabetes, children and the elderly.
