* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, visibility one quarter mile or
less in dense fog. For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold
wind chills as low as 8 below zero expected Sunday and Monday
mornings. In addition, the air temperature will fall as low as 6
above zero Monday morning.
* WHERE...Bell, Coryell, Lampasas, and Milam Counties.
* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 10 AM CST this morning.
For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 6 PM Saturday to noon CST
Monday.
* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
Dangerously cold wind chills could result in hypothermia or
frostbite on exposed skin if precautions are not taken. Cold
temperatures will become life threatening to people and animals
outside without adequate warmth or shelter. Damage to plumbing is
likely if pipes are not properly drained or insulated.
If driving in fog, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and
leave plenty of distance between you and others.
