For the Kankakee River at Shelby...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Fox River from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in
St. Charles, including the Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater gauge.
* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 9.5 feet, Fox River Drive threatened in East Dundee.
Boathouses threatened along the river in Cary.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 9.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is near crest and will fall below flood
stage Saturday evening.
- Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
