Air Quality Alert issued July 4 at 12:14PM EDT by NWS Burlington VT
The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources has canceled the Air Quality
Alert for fine particulate pollution from wildfire smoke that was
issued for Caledonia, Eastern Addison, Eastern Chittenden, Eastern
Franklin, Essex, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, Washington,
Western Addison, Western Chittenden, and Western Franklin Counties.
While a plume of smoke will move through the state, it will be less
dense than anticipated. Particle pollution levels may become elevated
tonight after firework shows have finished.
