* WHAT...Temperatures 105 to 107 expected.
* WHERE...Much of south-central New Mexico, including the Mesilla
and Hatch Valleys, and the western Tularosa Basin. This includes
the city of Las Cruces. Also, in Texas...most of El Paso County,
the Lower Valley through Hudsepth County, and the Salt Basin
including Dell City.
* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
