Rockland County in southeastern New York...
* Until 800 PM EDT.
* At 456 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1.5 to 2 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Ridgewood, Nanuet, Nyack, Pearl River, Orangeburg, Upper Nyack,
Spring Valley, Wyckoff, Glen Rock, Westwood, Franklin Lakes,
Hillsdale, River Vale, Waldwick, Valley Cottage, Washington
Township, Park Ridge, Congers, Upper Saddle River and Chestnut
Ridge.
