* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations up to 2 inches, with a glaze up to around two tenths
of an inch of ice accumulation.
* WHERE...In eastern New York, northern Herkimer, Hamilton, Warren,
northern Fulton and northern Saratoga Counties. In southern
Vermont, Bennington and western Windham Counties. In
Massachusetts, Berkshire County.
* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 10 AM EST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Precipitation will fall as more snow and
sleet across the southern Adirondacks, with more freezing rain
across the Berkshires and southern Greens. The combination of
snow, sleet, and freezing rain will make for slippery travel
conditions this evening into tomorrow morning, especially on
untreated surfaces.
