* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below expected.
* WHERE...Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Ionia, Jackson, Allegan,
Barry, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could
result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph Monday
night as temperatures drop into the single digits. The combination
of cold temperatures and increasing winds will drive wind chill
readings into the -15 to -20 range.
Use caution while outdoors. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and
gloves.
