* At 825 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 19 nm north of New Haven Harbor to 11 nm north of
Bridgeport to 12 nm north of Norwalk Islands, moving southeast at
45 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

Mouth of the Housatonic River and New Haven Harbor around 840 PM
EDT.
Stratford Shoal and The Thimbles around 850 PM EDT.
Falkner Island and Madison Reef around 855 PM EDT.
Essex Village, Central Long Island Sound, and Westbrook Center
around 900 PM EDT.
Long Sand Shoal, Mouth of the Connecticut River, Herod Point, and
Six Mile Reef around 905 PM EDT.
Niantic Bay, Horton Point, and Mattituck Inlet around 910 PM EDT.
Dering Harbor and Orient Point around 915 PM EDT.
Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, small hail, high waves, lightning,
and heavy rain are expected with these storms. If caught on the open
water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal
objects.
