* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Illinois, including
the following counties, in central Illinois, Marshall, McLean,
Peoria, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford. In west central Illinois,
Fulton and Knox.
* WHEN...From 10 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A large area of 3 to 5 inches of rain has fallen since
Thursday morning. Thunderstorms are expected to move in again
late this evening, becoming widespread after midnight. An
additional 1 to 3 inches is likely to fall overnight and
Saturday morning. With the ground already saturated, it will
not take much additional rain to cause renewed flooding.
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
