* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Utah, including the following areas, Bear Lake
and Bear River Valley, Bryce Canyon Country, Cache Valley/Utah
Portion, Capitol Reef National Park and Vicinity, Castle Country,
Central Mountains, Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Glen Canyon
Recreation Area/Lake Powell, Lower Washington County, San Rafael
Swell, Sanpete Valley, Sevier Valley, South Central Utah, Southern
Mountains, Southwest Utah, Upper Sevier River Valleys, Wasatch
Back, Wasatch Mountains I-80 North, Wasatch Mountains South of
I-80, Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs, Western Canyonlands, Western
Uinta Basin, Western Uinta Mountains and Zion National Park and
Wyoming, including the following area, Southwest Wyoming. This
also includes recent burn scars such as Cottonwood, Silver King,
Monroe Canyon, France Canyon, and Forsyth.
* WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive rainfall may result in flooding of slot
canyons, normally dry washes, slick rock areas, rivers, creeks,
streams, recent burn scars including Forsyth, France Canyon,
Cottonwood, Silver King, and Monroe Canyon, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and
urban areas.
