* WHAT...Snow expected. Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1
to 3 inches.
* WHERE...Washington DC, and portions of central, north-central,
northeast, and northern Maryland, and northern Virginia.
* WHEN...From 4 AM early this morning to 6 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow, possibly mixed with rain for a few
hours, will spread into the area early this morning with the
highest accumulations in the northwest suburbs. There may be some
breaks in the snow during the midday hours before additional snow
falls in the afternoon, mainly east of Interstate 95. Visibility
may drop to one half mile at times in moderate snow. The snow
should end during the late afternoon or early evening.
