* WHAT...Very cold wind chills, generally ranging from 10 to 15
degrees above zero at times.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast North Carolina and northeast South
Carolina.
* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 above zero could
result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and
hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these
temperatures.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water available.
