Mississippi...
Bouie Creek Near Near Hattiesburg affecting Forrest and Covington
Counties.
Tallahala Creek At Laurel affecting Jones County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Tallahala Creek at Laurel.
* WHEN...Until Friday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Agricultural and lowland flooding is
becoming more widespread along and near the creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CST Sunday the stage was 9.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 9.7 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall to 9.5 feet Monday
afternoon. It will rise to flood stage Thursday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
