Winter Weather Advisory issued January 24 at 5:07AM EST until January 26 at 1:00AM EST by NWS Northern Indiana
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5
inches. The greatest totals are most likely near Lake Michigan and
along and south of a line extending from Colon, MI into Elkhart,
South Bend, and Fish Lake, IN.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ this evening to 1 AM EST /midnight
CST/ Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...System snow is expected tonight into Sunday,
then lake effect snow follows from Sunday night into Monday
morning. Depending on how the lake effect evolves behind the
system, it's possible we will need to extend the advisory into
Monday for Northern La Porte and Western St. Joseph County in IN,
and Berrien and Cass County in MI. Additional accumulations of 1-2
inches are possible late Sunday night into early Monday afternoon.
