* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...Portions of Alabama, including the following counties,
Jackson and Madison and southern middle Tennessee, including the
following county, Lincoln.
* WHEN...Until 700 AM CDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1215 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the
warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 4 and 8
inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northern Huntsville, Scottsboro, Moores Mill, Meridianville,
Hazel Green, Stevenson, Hollywood, Skyline, Gurley, Section,
Woodville, Pisgah, New Market, Alabama A And M University,
Harvest, Lincoln, Pleasant Groves, Hytop, Dutton and Paint
Rock.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
