Freezing Fog Advisory issued January 28 at 4:15AM CST until January 28 at 11:00AM CST by NWS Memphis TN
* WHAT...Areas of freezing fog have developed, with visibilities
near or less than one quarter of a mile in freezing fog. Be alert
for visibilities quickly changing over short distances.
* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, North Mississippi, and West
Tennessee.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM CST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance ahead of you. Roadways are already hazardous due
to recent wintry precipitation. The freezing fog will also deposit a
thin layer of ice over most bridges and road surfaces, especially
those that have recently thawed.
