as low as 3 above expected. For the Lake Wind Advisory, northwest
winds 15 to 25 knots with gusts up to 35 knots and waves 2 to 3
feet expected.
* WHERE...Inland Berkeley County.
* WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, from 7 PM Saturday to noon EST
Sunday. For the Lake Wind Advisory, from 7 PM Saturday to 9 AM EST
Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on Lake Moultrie will create
hazardous conditions for small craft. Frostbite and hypothermia
could occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured
water pipes.
Boaters on Lake Moultrie should use extra caution since strong winds
and rough waves can overturn small craft.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go
outside.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
