* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the
following areas, Charleston, Coastal Colleton, Dorchester, Inland
Berkeley, Inland Colleton and Tidal Berkeley.
* WHEN...From noon EDT today through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A slow moving front will interact with the afternoon sea breeze,
yielding a heavy rainfall threat across portions of the South
Carolina Lowcountry. Rainfall amounts upwards of 3 to 5 inches
will be possible in some locations.
