Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 19 at 3:03PM EDT until September 20 at 5:00AM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC
* WHAT...Up to one and a half feet of inundation above ground
level expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.
* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.
* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 5 AM EDT Sunday, especially
around the time of high tide.
* IMPACTS...At 2.8 feet, flooding of some of the parking area
near Dock Street in Annapolis may occur, with water
surrounding the Alex Haley Memorial.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet above
normal. The next two high tides at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy
are at 1:16 AM and 12:20 PM.
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
