Cold Weather Advisory issued January 27 at 9:05AM EST until January 28 at 11:00AM EST by NWS Indianapolis IN
* WHAT...The Extreme Cold Warning was allowed to expire this morning
as wind chills have moderated. Very cold wind chills as low as 20
below zero are expected again tonight into Wednesday morning.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, south
central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana.
* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
exposed to these temperatures.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
