* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 28 degrees will result in frost
formation.
* WHERE...Colder locations throughout the Anchorage Bowl and Lower
Matanuska Valley.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold airmass and clear skies observed this
morning are expected again tonight through early Wednesday morning.
Many areas of Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley will see colder
than normal temperatures with lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s.
Typical cold areas of Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley, such as
Butte, Muldoon, Campbell Tract, and the Eagle River Valley, are
susceptible to near or below freezing temperatures from 2 AM
through 9 AM AKDT Wednesday morning.
