* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations between 8 and 15 inches and ice accumulations
between one tenth and four tenths of an inch. Winds gusting as
high as 40 mph. The higher snow amounts will be across the
Alleghany Highlands into the Shenandoah Valley, with more sleet
closer to U.S. 460 as well as freezing rain Sunday.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia.
* WHEN...From 1 PM Saturday to 1 PM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Wet snow
and ice could bring down tree limbs resulting in power outages.
