* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches in
the mountain terrain above 5000 feet. Slushy accumulations
possible for Lost Trail, Homestake and MacDonald Passes and around
Georgetown Lake. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Homestake Pass, Lolo Pass, Georgetown Lake, MacDonald Pass,
Highway 93 Sula to Lost Trail Pass, and Butte.
* WHEN...From midnight Saturday Night to midnight MDT Sunday Night.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery backcountry road conditions. Cold, wet
and breezy conditions may create hypothermia risk for those
recreating in the backcountry.
Slow down and use caution while traveling on high mountain roads.
Pack full waterproof layers and thermal gear to ensure you stay warm
and dry if recreating in the backcountry.
