Counties.
* WHERE...Lorain, Medina, Portage, and Summit Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult due to slick and snow

likely tonight and Thursday. The hazardous conditions will impact
the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will quickly change to accumulating snow
late this afternoon or early this evening. Rapidly falling
temperatures will lead to roads becoming snow covered and icy this
evening, with very poor road conditions expected tonight into
Thursday. Minimum wind chills of near 0 degrees are expected late
tonight and Thursday morning.
The Ohio Department of Transportation and Ohio Turnpike and
Infrastructure Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all
travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel. Visit www.ohgo.com
for the latest travel, roadway, and traffic conditions.
Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden
changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the
motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your
destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially
cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is
winterized and in good working order.
