- At 113 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of heavy rain due
to thunderstorms approaching the area and moving through between
200 AM and 330 AM. Minor flooding is expected in the advisory
area during this period.
- Rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area and
will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Elizabeth, Flatbush, Flushing,
Passaic, Bayonne, Mott Haven, Hoboken, Plainfield, Bloomfield,
East Tremont, Hackensack, Linden, Orange, Coney Island, Summit,
Lyndhurst and Millburn.
