Heavy Rain Risk Area
The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers the upper Vietnam. Isolated heavy rain are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Isolated thundershowers are likely in the South. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves are expected 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
