Heavy Rain Risk Area
The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea and Thailand with the southerly wind and the southeasterly wind prevails over the upper country while the low-pressure cell covers the upper Vietnam. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the North, the upper Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the South while isolated very heavy rain is likely in the South (west coast) and the East. People should beware of heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along waterways near foothills and lowlands. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf, the waves are expected to be 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
