Heavy Rain Risk Area
The monsoon trough lies across upper Myanmar, the upper North and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over
upper Vietnam while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with isolated heavy rains in the North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South(west coast) regions.
The moderate winds and the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the Upper Gulf are like about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
