Avoid staying outdoors and seek shelter (e.g. in buildings). Adapt your behaviour in road traffic - be prepared for disruptions to transport routes. If there is enough time: secure or store away outdoor objects. Keep sufficient distance from buildings, trees, scaffolding and high-voltage power lines. Close all doors and windows.
