In March, flooding continues, river runoff increases significantly, ice breaks up, and ice jams form in some places. Water levels continue to rise, flooding river floodplains and low-lying areas. In the coming days, larger areas will be inundated within river basins. BE AWARE of the potentially flood-prone areas! The environment is already overly humid, water is accumulating in the fields and in the lower depressions, low-lying areas on the banks of water bodies are flooded. Caution should be exercised when moving in flood-prone areas.
