During a very intensive frost, there is a risk of health problems for certain population groups, such as the elderly and infants, also the homeless. To avoid body cooling and frostbite, provide yourself with clothing suitable for the frost, and avoid inactivity when you are outside! Do not forget to take care of your pets - do not leave them outside for a long time!
There is a risk of disruption of infrastructure elements and traffic. Motor vehicles may be inoperable, insufficiently insulated water pipes may burst, and there is a higher risk of fire accidents due to the increased usage of heating systems.
Due to the frost, it may be necessary to change or cancel planned activities and works if they are planned outside heated premises! Students may not attend school.
