Snow squalls developing Sunday evening.
What:
Local snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm.
Poor visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.
When:
Sunday evening into Monday, and possibly continuing into Tuesday.
Additional information:
Lake effect snow off Lake Ontario will likely develop Sunday evening before intensifying during the day Monday.
Southwest winds gusting up to 70 or 80 km/h will create areas of blowing snow giving poor visibility.
The lake effect bands may continue to affect the regions into Tuesday, but it is possible that they shift just south of the area.
