According to the most recent data, precipitation is expected to fall mainly as snow and ice pellet for these regions, which should mitigate the expected impacts. However, the quantities could still vary greatly depending on the area since temperatures will be near freezing. It is also possible that the precipitation will be mixed with freezing rain at times.
Roads and sidewalks could be icy, making travel difficult.
