Freezing rain is occurring or expected.
Freezing rain has developed over Central Alberta and will move north and eastwards through the evening.
The freezing rain will end from west to east, ending around Edmonton late this afternoon or early this evening, most of Northern Alberta later tonight, and south of Fort McMurray Tuesday morning.
Localized ice accumulations of 2 to 4 mm is possible.

There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Icy surfaces could be difficult to detect. There is risk of injury due to slips and falls.
