Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression "BASYANG" was estimated based on all available data at 670 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (8.7°N, 132.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving Westward at 15 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is light to occasionally moderate rains or thunderstorms.
WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ **Siquijor** - All rivers and its tributaries
+ **Bohol** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Inabanga, Ipil, Matulid, Loboc and Abatan.
+ **Cebu** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Kotkot, Mananga, Guinabasan, Balamban and Sabangdaku.
+ **Negros Oriental** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly La Libertad, Tanjay, Candugay, Siaton, Cawitan, Sipocong, Bayawan, Pagatban and Lower Tabanan.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
