Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "MAYMAY" {KUJIRA} was estimated based on all available data in the vicinity of Bantay, Ilocos Sur (17.6°N, 120.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 110 km/h. It is moving Eastward at 10 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon and the western section of Visayas.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is moderate to heavy rains.
WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ **Aurora** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Casiguran, Aguang and Lower Umiray.
+ **Bulacan** - All rivers and its tributaries
+ **Bataan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Balanga and Morong.
+ **Zambales** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Pamatawan, Sto. Tomas, Bucao, Bancal and Lawis.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take appropriate actions.
