Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "QUEENIE" was estimated based on all available data at 615 km East of Itbayat, Batanes (22.1°N 127.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 115 km/h. It is moving Northwestward at 15 km/h. Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is light to occasionally moderate rains or thunderstorms.
WATERCOURSES STILL LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ **Misamis Occidental** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Clarin, Palilan and Aloran.
+ **Bukidnon** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Upper Cagayan De Oro.
+ **Misamis Oriental** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Eastern Cagayan De Oro, Odiongan, Gingoog, Balatukan, Cabulig, Upper/Lower Tagoloan, Middle/Lower Western Cagayan De Oro, Iponan, and Alubijid.
+ **Camiguin** - All rivers and its tributaries
+ **Lanao Del Norte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Mandulog, Agus, Liangan, Maranding, and Iligan.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
