Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data in the vicnity of Baggao, Cagayan (17.5°N, 121.9°E). Another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated over coastal waters of Balaon, La Union (16.8°N, 120.1°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon and the western section of Visayas.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms.
WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ **Aurora** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Casiguran, Aguang and Lower Umiray.
+ **Bulacan** - All rivers and its tributaries
+ **Bataan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Balanga and Morong.
+ **Zambales** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Pamatawan, Sto. Tomas, Bucao, Bancal and Lawis.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned advised to take appropriate actions.
