Location of eye/center : The center of Severe Tropical Storm QUEENIE was estimated based on all available data at at 605 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.2, 127.1).

Up to moderate seas over the following coastal waters:
Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Isabela; the northern seaboard of Batanes; the eastern seaboard of Davao Oriental.
Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
Other coastal waters have forecast wave heights of less than 2.0 m.
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
QUEENIE will decelerate while moving northward in the next 12 hours then turn north northeastward by tomorrow (27 September) afternoon. On the forecast track, the center of QUEENIE will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between tomorrow afternoon and evening. Outside the PAR, it will accelerate northeastward towards the sea south of mainland Japan.
This tropical cyclone will likely intensify into a typhoon tonight or tomorrow early morning and will strengthen further while moving over the sea south of Okinawa Islands. After reaching peak intensity, QUEENIE will begin to weaken by Monday (28 September).
