Coastal Towns: Damage to settlements (informal/formal) is possible. Travel routes may be affected by wind, falling trees, build up of sand on coastal roads. Risk for runaway fires is likely.
Small boats must stay away from the open sea and seek the shelter of a harbour, river estuary or protected bay.
Residents in the affected areas are urged to secure loose outdoor objects, and to take precautions while driving, as strong gusty winds can pose a hazard. Additionally, individuals should avoid standing under trees or near buildings with unstable structures.
