* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southern Connecticut, including the following
counties, New Haven and northwestern Middlesex.
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 758 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain capable of causing urban and small
stream flooding. Between 0.4 and 0.7 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall of up to 0.5 inch is expected.
- Some locations that could experience minor flooding
include...
New Haven, Meriden, Middletown, Wallingford, Guilford, East
Hampton, Durham, Hamden, Branford, North Haven, North
Branford, Cromwell, Portland, Haddam, Killingworth,
Middlefield, Lake Pocotopaug--East Hampton, West Haven, East
Haven and Madison.
