* WHAT...Very cold temperatures as low as 25 expected.
* WHERE...In Louisiana, St. Tammany Parish. In Mississippi, Hancock,
Harrison, and Jackson Counties.
* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM CST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves if you will be outside.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
