Cold Weather Advisory issued January 23 at 3:34AM EST until January 24 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Boston/Norton MA
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below expected in much
of southern New England.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern,
northeastern, southeastern, and western Massachusetts, and
northern and southern Rhode Island.
* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
exposed to these temperatures.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
