* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.
* WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County.
* WHEN...Until 545 PM HST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in
streams. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or
is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 241 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over Oahu,
particularly over urban Honolulu and interior and leeward
areas. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Honolulu, Waipio, Mililani, Pearl City, Waikele, Wahiawa,
Wheeler Field, Waipahu, Aiea, Kunia, Halawa, Waiahole,
Waikane, Schofield Barracks, Salt Lake, Kahaluu, Moanalua,
Ahuimanu, Iroquois Point and Ewa Beach.
Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone
to flooding.
