* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 30 expected Most of South
Florida.
* WHERE...Coastal Broward County, Inland Broward County, Inland
Miami-Dade County, Inland Palm Beach County, Metro Broward County,
Metro Palm Beach County, Metropolitan Miami Dade, Inland Collier
County, and Mainland Monroe Counties.
* WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with
prolonged exposure.
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
