Heavy Rain Risk Area
The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Laos into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam. Thundershower are forecast in the country while isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, and the East.
The rather strong winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
People should beware of heavy rains and accumulation.
All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.
