The easterly wind prevailing over the Gulf and the South is strengthening with more rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the South. The wind and wave in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershower. All ships should keep off thundershowers. The high-pressure system from China covering the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening while the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country. Hot weather with thundershowers and gusty winds are likely in upper Thailand.
People in the South should beware of the heavy rain and accumulated rain that may cause flashing floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
