Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain.
Potential hazards include:
- Rainfall rates of 25 mm per hour or higher.
- Wind gusts of 70 to 90 km/h.
- Up to nickel-sized hail.
Locations: most of New Brunswick.
Time span: ending later this evening.
Remarks: A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is moving through central New Brunswick. Large hail, strong winds, and torrential downpours are expected to accompany these storms as they continue to move east across New Brunswick through this evening.
