Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 520 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (24.8°N, 124.4°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is moderate to heavy rains.
WATERCOURSES STILL LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ **Pangasinan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Balincaguing and Alaminos.
+ **Ilocos Sur** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Lower Abra, Silay-Sta. Maria, Buaya, and Amburayan.
+ **La Union** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Amburayan, Baroro, Lower Bauang and Aringay.
+ **Ilocos Norte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Bulu, Banban, Bacarra-Vintar, Laoag and Quiaoit.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned advised to be alert for possible flashfloods and landslides.
