Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of Typhoon "INDAY" {BAVI} was estimated based on all available data at 520 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (21.9°N, 126.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 170 km/h. It is moving North Northwestward at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Light to moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms.
WATERCOURSES STILL LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ **La Union** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Amburayan, Baroro, Lower Bauang and Aringay.
+ **Ilocos Sur** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Lower Abra, Silay-Sta. Maria, Buaya, and Amburayan.
+ **Pangasinan** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Balincaguing and Alaminos.
+ **Ilocos Norte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Bulu, Banban, Bacarra-Vintar, Laoag and Quiaoit.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
