Freezing rain on Monday
What: A prolonged period of freezing rain with ice pellets
When: Beginning overnight Sunday night and ending Monday late in the day
Where: Outaouais, Laurentians, Lanaudière, Greater Montreal, Montérégie and Eastern Townships

Freezing precipitation amounts of 5 to 15 millimetres are expected. Southwesterly winds will reach up to 70 kilometres per hour starting at the end of the day on Monday.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Prolonged utility outages are likely.
